Correction to a 1971 statement by the United Kingdom

 

On page 387 of the book, the second sentence in the statement by the representative of the United Kingdom should read as follows:  “Members of the Council have in the past formed their positions on draft resolutions on the clear understanding that the Council could take decisions binding on Member States generally only if there had been a determination under Article 39.”
